In these practices I learned more about youth and how teenagers interact and
behave, I learned that now a days we can not just use paper bond to caught their attention because technology is so advanced that we must use it for them to be interested on our theme.
When I got to the school my first impression was that it was in really good conditions and that it was a nice school, it had an iffel tower at the side of the school.
The attendant asked us for help because some teachers had not come to school and he nedded us to watch the students for that one hourand so we went.
What I noticed in the classroom was that despite the good conditions and the iffel tower, they had no technology inside their classrooms like a proyector.
Then I looked up to the students, they were in little groups as always I could noticed to the intelligent ones, the we-don´t-care ones and the we´re-against-everything ones, my friend Sara and I had nothing prepared for that class, so we just improvised, first we asked about the theme they were seeing, they told us that they were in nothing because the teacher is never there;
then we asked them about what they knew, they told us that they only new basic things like fruits, colors and clothes so we used that.
We made them make a circle, then we started to play fruit salad after the correct intructions given, at first they did not wanted to play it, but then, they did not wanted it to stop, so I discovered that students love to play.
When I gave mi class I knew that I had to start with something interesting.
First I introduce myself to the students, my theme was Past Simple
So I asked to some students: what did you di yesterday? as they did not understood my question I asked it again in spanish...
